Legal
Privacy policy
This is a courtesy translation. In case of doubt, the German version applies.
We take the protection of your personal data seriously. This website works without cookies, tracking services or ad networks. Here you can find out which data is processed when you visit and when you send us an enquiry.
1. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this website is the provider named in the legal notice. For questions about data protection, contact us at ali.haidar@almoha.de.
2. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you open a page, the server processes technically necessary data transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time, page requested, referrer, browser and operating system. This data is used solely to deliver the website securely and reliably and is not combined with other data.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in operating the website securely and without errors. We have a data processing agreement with Vercel. Vercel is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses apply in addition.
3. Fonts
The fonts used on this website are hosted locally on our server. No connection to Google or other font providers is made when you open a page.
4. Local storage in your browser
On the German-language pages we show our explainer video in two variants. Which variant you see is chosen at random and saved in your browser’s local storage (localStorage) so that you see the same variant on your next visit. This entry contains no personal data, is not transmitted to us or third parties and can be deleted at any time in your browser settings. If you send us an enquiry via the form, we transmit the variant (on this English page: the language) together with your enquiry.
5. Contact form
When you send us an enquiry via the form, we process the details you enter (website address, name and business, email address or phone number, optionally your message) and the time of the enquiry. We use this data to handle your enquiry, create your preview draft and contact you about it.
Your enquiry is stored in our customer management system, run by Supabase Inc. on servers in Frankfurt am Main (EU), and is also sent to us by email. For sending emails we use Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., 2261 Market Street #5039, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA). We have data processing agreements with both providers; transfers to the USA are based on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry aims at a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in answering enquiries). We delete your data as soon as it is no longer needed for these purposes and no statutory retention obligations apply; if no contract results, after twelve months at the latest.
6. Contact by email or phone
If you contact us by email or phone, we process your details to handle your request under Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR and delete them according to the same principles as in section 5.
7. Links to Google Maps and WhatsApp
Our address links to Google Maps. The map is not embedded: data is only transmitted to Google when you click the link. Google’s privacy policy applies to the processing there.
The “Message us on WhatsApp” link lets you send us a message via WhatsApp. Here too, a connection to WhatsApp (WhatsApp Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland, a Meta company) is only made when you click. If you message us, we process your phone number, profile name and the content of your message to answer your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). WhatsApp processes its own data under its own responsibility, partly in the USA; WhatsApp’s privacy policy applies. If you prefer not to use it, you can reach us just as well by phone, email or the form.
8. Your rights
You have the right at any time to
- access the data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR),
- erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) and restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
- object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR).
An informal message to ali.haidar@almoha.de is enough. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Gustav-Stresemann-Ring 1, 65189 Wiesbaden, Germany.
9. Encryption
For security reasons this website uses TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” in your browser’s address bar.
